Club: Drift Golf Club, Surrey

Sam took up this most wonderful game at the age of 17 turning pro just three years later! As an amateur, he represented his club and Bedfordshire County, having success in both regional and national events.

At the age of 23, Sam’s passion for coaching had been recognized and as such was appointed a County coach for the Bedfordshire girl’s team. Once qualified after a year as Head Assistant at The Bedfordshire Golf Club he took the position of Head Professional at the picturesque Drift Golf Club in Surrey (see www.driftgolfclub.com for details on this brilliant test of golf).

Sam has a great ability to communicate effectively with his pupils and his philosophy is to provide the instruction required by the pupil. In other words, if you would like a technical lesson then this is what will be delivered, . However, if you're less interested in the science behind your golf swing, then key areas will be worked on and you will leave with a clear understanding of what’s required to improve your golf.
